Bespoke, hand-made solargraphy cameras allow me to not only photograph landscapes and buildings, but with ultra-long exposure the images can capture the daily path of the sun across the sky. Learning the tricks of camera construction and placement, image composition and development has been a slow process - especially when one exposure takes about six months - but the satisfaction of creating a unique image is worth it.
